ISRAEL, OSCAR M., 89, of 5575 Gulf Blvd., St. Petersburg Beach, died Thursday (Aug. 21, 1986) at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. Born in West Blocton, Ala., he came here in 1970 from North Miami Beach. He was a retired ladies apparel retailer. He was a member of Temple Beth-El and its Brotherhood, 65-year member of the Masons, a 32nd Degree Mason and member of the Shrine, Rotary and past president of the Merchants Association of Lenoir, N.C. Survivors include his wife Miriam; a son William E.; a daughter Renette Corenswet, Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. David C. Gross Funeral Home, Central Avenue Chapel.
