Born Dec. 14, 1920, in Clarion County, Pa., he was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran and a POW. He worked at Western Union and was a coal miner.
Surviving are sons, Ronald Miller of Canton, Scott Miller, Michael Miller and Kenny Miller of Zanesville; daughters, Deborah Brady of California and Melissa Miller of Zanesville; brothers, Donald Miller of Glen Burine, Md. and Milo Miller of Abbotstown, Pa.; and sisters, Charlotte Airgood of Indiana, Pa., Marjorie Bothell of Wintergreen, Fla., Helen Lindenburg and Martha McCurdy of Indiana, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. Miller; his parents, Milo C. Miller and Ruth Boddorf Miller; a son, Kenneth L. Miller; a brother, Robert Miller; a sister, Dorothy Miller; and three grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 14, at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, 56 S. Fifth St.
Burial will be in Indiana, Pa.
