Orville Corneliusen, a supervisor for 34 years at Chevron in Richmond, died in San Pablo. He was 80.
The native of Benson, Minn., lived in Richmond for 54 years and was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired in 1980 and enjoyed bowling, basketball and baseball.
He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn A. Dorey of Woodland Hills; son, Steven C. Corneliusen of El Sobrante; sisters, Margie Burns of Benson and Donna Krenz of White Bear Lake, Minn.; brothers, LaMar Corneliusen of Benson and Ronald Corneliusen of Mesa, Ariz.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. His wife, Patricia, died in 1998.
Services: Funeral 10 a.m. today at Sunset View Mortuary in El Cerrito, with burial private.
