OBITUARY

CULL

James T. (Thomas) Cull died Monday, Sept. 17, 1923, at his home near Wyaconda, Mo., after a few minutes illness of heart trouble, age 59 years, 5 (Five) months and 5 (Five) days.

James T. Cull was a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Cull and was born on the farm known as the Cull farm just east of Wyaconda, where he lived all his life.

Mr. Cull was married to Miss Emma LaFrenz October 24, 1864 (1894), and to this union were born four children. Mr. and Mrs. Cull have lived among us these many years and their home has ever been an influence for good. Mr. Cull was willing to spend himself for others; nothing was too great to do for his fellow man.

He united with the Zion Methodist Episcopal church about twenty years ago, later transferring his membership to the Wyaconda M. E. church. He has lived his life well, always a devout Christian, true to his faith and church.

Mr. Cull was always a hard-working man and enjoyed excellent health until three years ago when he began to gradually fail, but he was courageous to the end. He attended church at Wyaconda Sunday evening. Monday morning, he was taken suddenly ill while about the yard. He expressed the opinion that he would be all right in a few minutes but the end came peacefully at 7 a.m. Death had no terrors for him as he was prepard to go.

Mr. Cull leaves his Devoted wife, Mrs. Emma Cull, his faithful companion of thirty years; three children, Velva, Waldo and Delbert Cull, at home; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Wood of Modesto, Cal.; one brother, Carleton A. Cull at home, besides several aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other relatives who have the sympathy of a host of friends in their great sorrow. Preceding him in death are his parents, one son, Cecil Clayton Cull, Dec. 22, 1909; a brother, William Cull, and a sister, Lucy Cull.

The funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m., at the Wyaconda M. E. church, conducted by Rev. C. S. Young, assisted by Rev. W. A. Kleckner, of LaGrange. The interment was in the Wyaconda cemetery
