Jacoba Meyer was born on 23 July 1883 in Amsterdam as Jacoba Susanna Poelenjee and married 27 Dec 1905 to Antonius ("Anton") de Vries, born 23 Febr 1881, who was a circus acrobat. They emigrated from Holland to the USA in 1910/1912 and had three children: Paulina (Paris, 1907), Hetty (Amsterdam, 1912) and Anton (New Brunswick,1914).
Anton died between 1915 and 1925 (drowned).
Jacoba remarried Herman Meyer 13 May 1951. They lived in St. Petersburg, where Jacoba died in Feb 1961. Herman moved to California, where his step-daugther Hetty lived (she was married to Thomas Henri Baxter). Herman died 5 June 1974.
