Abel, Albert Francis (8 February 1935 - 14 October 1955)

Albert Francis Abel, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Abel of Greenwood, was killed in a car accident late Friday evening, October 14, between Capron and Harvard, Ill. He was employed at Capron.

Funeral services were held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the Abel home and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. The Rev. Edward Hartung officiated.

Albert Abel was born February 8, 1935, in Greenwood. He attended St. Mary's School and graduated from the Greenwood High School with the class of 1952.

Besides his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Abel, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Harry (Joan) Bujanouski of Milwaukee, and Yvonne and Donna Mae at home, and three brothers, Harold of Capron, Ill., and Lloyd and Frank at home.
