Alonzo Northrup Dead.
Weedsport. Oct. 17 Alonzo Northrup, an aged colored man, died this morning at his home in Mechanic Street from complication of diseases. His father, Solomon Northrup, was stolen and held as a slave for twelve years. Alonzos age is not known, although he is thought to have been about 80 years old. His son, Harry, is well known in Central New York as a baseball player. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons and one daughter.
