Cecil Drake, 63, Succumbs Friday At Step Daughter's

Cecil D. Drake, 63, died Friday evening at 8 o'clock at the home of a step-daughter Mr. Milton Hobson, 124 North 10th street, of complications following an illness of several months.

Born June 17, 1887 in Monon, he was the son of Nathan and Pheobe Drake. He was twice married, first to Miss Ora Hughes in 1909. She died in 1915. he was marred to Mrs. Ida Rogers in 1923. She survives. Mr. Drake wa a retired employee of the Stokely corporation.

Survivors include two children, Clifford Drake and Mrs. Mary Stafford, Elwood; four step-children, Mrs. Charles Knee, Tipton; Mrs. Sidney Clark, and Mrs. Milton Hobson; Elwood, and Mrs. Clarence Brown of near Noblesville; a brother, Frank Drake of Saginaw Mich., and one grandchild.

The body is at Copher and Fesler Funeral home.

Funeral rites will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Copher and Fesler Funeral home. Burial will be made in Elwood City cemetery.
