Bullet Wound Fatal To Bloomfield Officer - Amos Gritton, 42, for three years town marshal at Bloomfield Ky., died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Hospital from a .45 caliber pistol wound suffered Tuesday night at his home. Gritton shot himself accidentally in the left chest as he was reloading the gun after cleaning and oiling it, his wife, Mrs. Anna May Gritton, said.
