Patricia J. Abbott, 67 of Binghamton, died Saturday evening, October 12, 2013 at UHS Wilson Hospital. She was the ninth of ten children born to Earl G. and Catherine H. Abbott, who predeceased her. Pat was also predeceased by her brother, Earl J. Abbott; her sisters, Barbara E. Abashian, Norma J. Goodspeed, Evelyn C. Valcourt and Constance E. Abbott. She is survived by her loving life partner and best friend, John A. Liberati. Also surviving are brothers and sister, Douglas (Anne) Abbott, Oregon, James (Elaine) Abbott, Endwell, Kathryn (Michael) Cleney, Binghamton and Joseph (Lynette) Abbott, Binghamton. "Aunt Pat" is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins whom she loved dearly. Ann Ferranti, a special Aunt, also survives. She had many life long friends who were very important to her. Pat spent the majority of her career as an accomplished hairstylist and she enjoyed golfing and celebrating life every day. Pat touched the lives of so many, and she will be forever remembered and missed. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 16, at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church where a Funeral Mass will be offered. The family will receive friends at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY 13901 Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 4 – 7 PM. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
