Margaret Ann Anderson Harker passed away peacefully on November 10, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah.

Margaret was born November 6, 1933 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Boas Eyolfur Anderson and Catherine Ann Christianson. She was the ninth of nine children. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School and attended BYU.

She later moved to Salt Lake City, where she met her sweetheart, Robert Harker. They were married on November 27, 1953; later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Mom was so proud of her Icelandic heritage. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved music, especially Primary songs, and played piano in Primary for thirty years. She also loved doing name extraction work for the temple. But her greatest accomplishment was her family. The time spent at their cabin near West Yellowstone, Montana with her family made some of her most treasured memories.

She is survived by her husband, who tenderly cared for her; a sister, Mary Shepherd; four daughters, Diane (Kyle) Memmott, Karen (Vaughn) Argyle, Kristine (Saimone) Katoa, and Terri (Ken) Culmone; daughter-in-law, Tracy (Darryl) Sanford; fourteen grandchildren, including a granddaughter serving in the California San Diego Mission; and eleven great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and son, Charles Robert Harker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the Bountiful Thirtieth Ward Chapel, 2150 South 650 East, Bountiful. A viewing will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
Interment: Bountiful Memorial Park.
