GLOUCESTER - Robert Wilson Bockrath, 81, of Gloucester, died Saturday, July 20, 1996, at his residence. Born in New Jersey, he had been a Gloucester County resident for over 61 years.

A foreman in the Power and Heating Department, he retired from the Yorktown Naval Weapons Station in 1970 after 34 years of service.

He was a member of Bellamy United Methodist Church and a former member of the Moose Lodge and the Ark Hunt Club.

He is survived by his wife, Katie Sunbeam Walker Bockrath, and three grandchildren, Mickey Lee Bockrath of Richmond and Roberta Lynn Bockrath and Robert Gerald Bockrath Jr., both of Gloucester.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Andrews Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. James B. Grimmer. Burial in Bellamy Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
