MILLERSBURG: Dale E. Ridenbaugh, 85, a resident of the Majora Lane Care Center and formerly of Tiverton, died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Aultman Hospital in Canton.

He was born Dec. 14, 1927 in Coshocton County to the late J. A. "Burt" and Mary (Hoberg) Ridenbaugh.

He was married to Emogean C. (Mullett) Ridenbaugh on June 19, 1950, who preceded him in death on March 2, 2008.

He was a former employee of Briar Hill Stone in Glenmont.

Dale attended Tiverton Schools and was a member of the Dutch Run Trinity Church. He enjoyed deer hunting, and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Indians, Browns and Buckeyes. He coached baseball for many years with the former New Castle Little League. He was also active in the activities at Majora Lane and served as President of the Majora Lane Resident Council.

He is survived by two sons, Tom (Faith) Ridenbaugh of Coshocton and Tony (Nancy) Ridenbaugh of Orlando, FL.; six grandchildren, Tammy Ward of Columbus, Tommy (Darcy) Ridenbaugh of Tiverton, Aaron Ridenbaugh of Orlando, FL, Travis (Ning) Ridenbaugh of Atlanta, GA, Ryan Ridenbaugh of Orlando, FL. and Kaitlyn Ridenbaugh of Orlando, FL.; step grandchildren, Janna (Jeff) Stanford of Sunbury, Julie (Mike) Porretta of Westerville and Robbie (Jeni) Wells of El Paso, TX.; great-grandchildren, Ashtin and Taylor Ward, Devin Ward-Strakowski and Westing Ridenbaugh; step great-grandchildren, Carson and Caden Stanford, Madison and Leo Porretta; and a brother, Joseph (Margaret) Ridenbaugh of Tiverton.

In addition to his parents and wife, Dale was preceded in death by a sister, Marjorie Corder; and two brothers, John and Arthur "Dutch" Ridenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Blissfield Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, November 13th from 6-8 p.m., and until service time on Thursday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
