CONSTANCE MAE "Connie" ALBERTSON.; of Waterford; October 22, 2013; at 77 years of age. Loving wife of Robert Albertson for 57 years; beloved mother of Paul (Barbara) Albertson, Susan Pelkey, and Dean Albertson. Grandmother of Lacy, Paul Jr.and Luke Albertson, Nicholas Armentrout, Sarah Kingsley, Miranda and Andrew Pelkey. Great Grandmother of Tanner and Paul Albertson III. Sister of Bob (Shirley) Barnett, Jerry (Judy) Barnett and the late Teddy (Karleen) Barnette. Preceeded in death by her parents, Ted and Erma (Ayers) Barnett. Born in Layland, in the mountains of southern West Virginia, she was quick to let everyone know she was a "Mountaineer". Connie worked at Waterford Schoolcraft Elementary before retiring in 2002 from the Pontiac-Waterford Elks. She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. A celebration of Connie's life will be held starting at Noon, 9 November 2013 at the Pontiac-Waterford Elks, 2100 Scott Lake Rd., Waterford.
Connie died at home with family surrounding her. Her cremains will be buried, after being mixed with that of her husbands, at the time of his death, in the Waterford Crescent Hills Cemetery, both in the same plot.
