James "Jimmy" Di Matteo, 59 James "Jimmy" Di Matteo, 59, of Eddystone, died November 9, 2013 at Crozer- Keystone Hospice at Taylor. Born in Chester, Jimmy was a lifelong resident of Eddystone. He was a machinist for the Catholic Cemeteries, Archdiocese of Philadelphia for 41 years.
Jimmy was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, a Life member of the Eddystone Fire Company and a graduate of Ridley High School, class of 1972. He was a proud member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking and grilling, but most important to him was time spent with his family. He was son of the late Carmine and Olga C. Sulpizio Di Matteo and brother of the late Louis Di Matteo, who died in 2012.
Survivors: His siblings Carmen Di Matteo, Jr. (Carol) and Marie Di Matteo-Budgick (Late Don) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy: 10:30a.m., Saturday, at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, where friends may call after 9:30a.m. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial gifts to: Crozer- Keystone Hospice at Taylor, 5030 State Rd., Suite 3001, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
