Miss Lena Richmond died at her home at Sandstone, Saturday morning at 7 o'clock after a long illness of cancer of the liver, aged 49 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr John A Richmond of that place, and was a very estimable lady. She leaves a large relationship, being related to many Hinton and Summers county people. The news of her death will be received with profound regret by her many friends in this city as well as elsewhere.
The funeral and burial was conducted Sunday afternoon.
