Born in Argentina where his architect father was working at the time, he was baptised Carlos Febo Ferrari on 22 Apr 1899 in Cayasta, Santa Fe, Argentina. He came to America in 1903 with his parents. Graduated from the Yale School of Architecture, he worked for the Hartford architectural firm of Ferguson, Mahaffey & Perry for 25 years retiring in 1969. Previously he had been employed by the Federal jail Administration as a jail designer.
Member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church & Meriden Lodge No.77 AF&AM.
