Jacqueline (Jackie) R. Avrett, age 55 of McDonough, GA, died December 5, 2004. Mrs. Avrett was born May 2, 1949 in Atlanta. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Her family was her life. She enjoyed nothing better than spending time with them and spoiling her grandchildren. When possible to get away, she enjoyed the beach and her mountain home. Jackie was preceded in death by her mother, Eloise Eady Fannin. Mrs. Avrett is survived by her husband, Herbert Lamar Avrett, McDonough; daughter, Mandy Jones, McDonough; son, Jimmy Jones, McDonough; father, Jack Fannin, McDonough; brother, Jimmy Fannin, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Colin and Gabriel. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at westview Cemetery with Herman Miller officiating.
