The combined funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for four members of Mariachi Estrella who died Friday when two sky bridges at a Kansas City, Mo. hotel collapsed.
Parish wake services will be at 7:30 p.m. Cursillo rosary will be recited at 8 p.m., and Legion of Mary rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the church for the four members.
Burial for Mrs. Connie J. "Chae" Alcala, Mrs. Delores Carmona, and Mrs. Delores Galvan will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a scholarship at our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1008 Atchison, Topeka, 66607, to sponsor a student in higher education.
Later services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Popkess Mortuary, Sabetha, for Mrs. Linda Louise Rokey Scurlock. Burial will be in Sabetha Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Linda Rokey Scurlock scholarship fund in care of Popkess Mortuary, Sabetha, or Brennan's of Topeka.
Mrs. Delores A. Carmona, 35, 3000 SE Granger, was born Nov. 1, 1945, at Topeka, the daughter of Jose B. and Lenora Alvarez Gonzalez.
Mrs. Carmona was a payroll clerk at Santa Fe Railway and member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and Mariachi Estrella.
She married Manuel Carmona, Jr. June 14, 1969, at Topeka. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Manual Carmona, III, of the home; her father and stepmother, Jose and Aurora Gonzalez, 210 Wilson; three sisters, Mrs. Rudy Zuniga and Mrs. Juanita Ortega, both of Topeka, and Mrs. Delmont Noreiga, Colorado Springs; and four brothers, Joe Gonzalez, Overland Park, Ediberto Gonzalez and Leo Gonzalez, both of Topeka, and Ben Gonzalez, Chicago.
