Robert A. Matte, 39, of 7907 County Highway C, Manitowoc, died Sunday, May 17, 1987 as a result of injuries due to an accident.
Private family funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate with burial to follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Matte was born May 29, 1947 at Manitowoc, son of Dolores Fessler Matte and the late Arnold Matte. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, graduating with the Class of 1965. He married the former Eileen Wiltman on June 11, 1966 at Manitowoc. Mr. Matte was presently employed at Jim’s Excavating.
Survivors include his wife, Eileen; a son, Anthony Alan Matte and a daughter, Vicki Lyn Matte, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Dolores Matte of Manitowoc; three brothers and sisters-in-law, AlanandTammy Matte and Francis and Lori Matte, both of Cato and john and Susan Matte of Manitowoc; a sister and a brother-in-law, Mary Clare and Peter Pankratz of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his grandparents, August and Emma Fessler of Manitowoc and other relatives and friends survive.
