JOHN MIGACZ
(1866 - 1951)

A retired railroad worker, John Migacz, 85, of Valders, died Friday night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc, at 9 a.m. Monday with Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in the St. Mary Cemetery.

Mr. Migacz was born in Poland in 1866 and immigrated to the United States 30 years later. Twenty-seven years ago he settled in Manitowoc. He married the former Mary Kostecka in Poland 55 years ago. She preceded him in death.

Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Arthur Vetter of Valders, with whom Mr. Migacz resided in recent years, Mrs. Catherine Lubinski of Milwaukee, and Blanche, Lydia and Dorothy of Crivitz; five sons, Casimir, Anton, Henry and Alois all of Milwaukee, and Edward of Crivitz; and one brother, Stanley of Milwaukee.

Friends may call at the Leschke Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 7 p.m. Saturday until time of services. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
