Mildred is the daughter of Joseph Kindla, Jr. (deceased) and Mary Chapaty Kindla (deceased) of Leming, Texas. Her paternal grandparents, who sponsored the purchase of a bell for the old church, are Joseph Kindla, Sr. (deceased) and Anastasia Korus Kindla (deceased) of Leming, Texas. Her maternal grandparents are John Chapaty (deceased) and Valentina Sobeczek Chapaty (deceased) of Loire, Texas.
She is predeceased by her parents, eleven siblings, as well as cousin and life-long friend Clara Chapaty Koch. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013, with requiem mass to be offered by Rev. Stefan Wiera at 9 am at St. Luke Catholic Church in Loire, Texas, followed by a graveside service at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Leming, Texas
