Mrs. Gabriella M. (Gaye) Mrotek, 62, of 2202 Marshall Street, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, May 13, 1987 at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 am Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Mrotek, nee Gabriella Marie Schmidt, was born August 13, 1924, at Green Bay, Wisconsin. She married Erwin Mrotek on November 20, 1943 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Gaye and her husband, Erwin, owned and operated the 3 –T's Lanes in Manitowoc. Gaye was a member of the Rosary and Altar Society of St. Mary Church and the Manitowoc Senior Citizens.
Survivors include her husband, Erwin and special friends, Dorothy and Stan Janesky of Manitowoc and Amanda Schmidt of Reno, Nevada.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral home, Manitowoc, 3 pm to 8 pm Thursday where a rosary service will be at 3:30 by the Rosary and Altar Society of the church and a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm.
