Charles A. Mrotek, 74, 1309 S. 39th St. Manitowoc, died Thursday evening at Holy Family Hospital Manitowoc, where he had been a patient for three days.

Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, the Rev. John Landowski officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 28, 1882, in Manitowoc, son of the late Francis and Antonia Ozga Mrotek. He married the former Rose Skorch May 3, 1904. Prior to his retirement seven years ago, he was employed at the Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. for 47 years.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Miss Florence E. Mrotek at home; two sons, Ambrose J. of Manitowoc and Chester L. of Milwaukee; a brother, Adam of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Glysch and Mrs. Joseph Contney of Manitowoc; and a grandchild.

Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
