She was born May 21, 1928 in Canalou, daughter of the late John and Jenny (Frazier) Nimmo; she was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Randy & Donna Tippy and Danny Tippy; four daughters and one son-in-law, Jo Meeker, Vernell Gaddis, Patricia "P.K." Robison and Theresa & Marvin Wolverton; and one brother, Jerry Nimmo.
Also surviving are 17 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Two sons, Roger Tippy and Donald Tippy; four brothers; three sisters; and four grandchildren preceded her in death.
Visitation and services at Ponder Funeral Home. Rev. Jerry Adams, pastor of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, officiated.
Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
