George Scheraski, 83, of 4230 Custer St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday at the family residence. Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Thaddeus J. Koszarek will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Scheraski was born March 19,1891, at Manitowoc, son of the late George and Pauline Kaspa Scheraski. He married Rose Cichowlas June 2, 1914. She preceded him in death July 1, 1931. He married Blanche Drumm Oct. 28, 1933, at Manitowoc. He owned and operated a greenhouse at Manitowoc the past 25 years. Survivors include his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Leon (Betty) Galien, of Manitowoc, Mrs. James (Jeanette) Rablin, of Sheboygan and Mrs. Gene (Georgiana) Klein, of Two Rivers; a brother, Felix, of Manitowoc; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Helminiak, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Kate Haener, of Michigan and 13 grandchildren. A brother, three sisters and a granddaughter preceded him in death. Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 o'clock this Tuesday evening where a wake memorial service will be held at 7 o'clock.
