After graduating from Corsicana High School, Bud attended Navarro Junior College, studied medical technology at Navarro County School of Medical Technology, and served in the Texas Army National Guard. He worked as Chief Lab Technician at Henderson Memorial Hospital in Henderson, TX, for several years before moving to Dallas and then back to the Waco area. He retired in early 2013 as the Chief Lab Technologist from Limestone Medical Center in Groesbeck, Texas.
Bud was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Hewitt, Texas, and had previously been active with the prison ministry.
Survivors are son Jon Jablonowski of East Mountain TX; daughter Lisa McTee and husband, Mike of Henderson TX; daughter Jana Wylie and husband, John of Henderson TX. Grandchildren are Jon Merrick Jablonowski and Brandon Jablonowski of Henderson TX; Adrien Poel and husband, LeVon of Nacogdoches TX; Trey Jablonowski of Kaneohe HI; Benjamin McTee and wife, Kate of Kailua HI; Alyssa McTee of Longview TX; Joni Wylie of Houston, TX; and Jill Wylie and Russell Wylie of Henderson TX. His great-‐grandchildren are Aubrey Poel of Nacogdoches TX; Troy McTee of Tyler TX; Drew McTee of Kailua HI. Bud is also survived by his brother, Richard Jablonowski and wife Sheri of Riesel TX, and sister Mary Ann Jablonowski Chandler of Waco TX.
In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his stepfather, Benny Spross, and his stepmother, Sarah Millicent Jablonowski Retzlaff.
