Son of Morris and Mary McEntire Van Buskirk

"William H. Van Buskirk, an aged and highly respected resident of Milford, passed away in to the Great Beyond early Friday morning of last week. Mr. Van Buskirk was one of the people a town dislikes to lose, a good friend and neighbor, strictly honorable in all dealings. He had not been well all summer but was confined to his bed only a few weeks suffering patiently from a complication of diseases. He leaves besides his wife, three daughters, and a son, Mrs. F. A. Cooper and Mrs. A. E. Winne of Milford, and Mrs. Margaret Dean of Philadelphia, Pa., and Herbert Van Buskirk with whom he made his home.

The funeral was largely attended at his late home on West street, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. H. B. Erkman of the Presbyterian church officiated, reading the 139 psalm, and taking for a text, “When I Awake, I am still with thee.” … Burial in the village cemetery. There were many and beautiful flowers."
