Mr. William Lavonne Bullard, 66, died Monday morning (November 18, 2013) at his residence following an extended illness.
He was a native of Clinch County but had resided most of his life in Waycross. He was a former truck driver with Webb Trucking Co. of Douglas.
Mr. Bullard was a son to the late William Augustus Bullard, Jr. and Leona Lee Bullard. He was also preceded in death by a brother, J.R. Bullard.
He is survived by two children, Amanda Lee Bullard (husband Robert) of Pearson and William Davis of Blackshear; four step-children, Troy Dale Reliford (wife Stacie) of Pearson, Sherry Ann Purvis of Alabama, Annie Jean Purvis of Pearson, and Billy Wayne Purvis of Pearson; three grandchildren, Selina Leona Lee Bullard, Sabrina Gabrielle Bullard, and Shana Marie Bullard; two brothers, David L. Bullard of Waycross and Wayne E. Bullard, Sr. of Waycross; five sisters, Margaret Bowen of Douglas, Lynette Bullard of Waycross, Ann Justice of Waycross, Debbie Sweat of Waycross, and Mavis Fussell of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday (November 21, 2013) at Hargraves Chapel. Burial will follow in Hargraves Chapel Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Mr. Bullard's residence, 1015 Ann St., Waycross, GA 31501.
