Mrs. Alva L. Disher, 77, 221 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg, died Thursday evening at the Brethrens' Home, Greenville.

Survivors include her sisters, Mrs. Lydia Hoffman and Mrs. Arlene Miller, both of Greenville; seven brothers, Kenneth Schlosser and Hugh Schlosser of New Madison, Harold Schlosser of New Weston, Russell Schlosser of Pitsburg, William Schlosser of Greenville and Elmer Schlosser of Verona.

Private services will be held for Mrs. Disher at the Kramer and Moeller Funeral Home, Lewisburg, with Rev. A.E. Houck officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. the family requests that flowers be omitted. There is no public calling.

Mrs. Alva Disher

Private funeral service was held Monday from the Kramer and Moeller funeral home for a well-known Lewisburg woman, Mrs. Alva L. Disher, age 77, who passed away Thursday evening, June 28, at the Brethren home in Greenville.

Rev. A.E. Houck officiated at the service followed by interment in Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Disher and her late husband, L.C. Disher, resided on the Sonora Rd. Shortly after his death, nearly 20 years ago, she moved into an apartment above the Kramer & Moeller warehouse, 221 N. Commerce St., Lewisburg.

She had undergone surgery for the removal of cataracts from her eyes last year and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new eyeglasses.

Mrs. Disher was admitted to the Good Samaritan hospital March 6 after she was found wandering near her home in a somewhat dazed condition. She remained a patient for nearly six weeks when she was transferred to the Brethren home in Greenville.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lydia Hoffman and Mrs. Ralph (Arlene) Miller, both of Greenville, seven brothers, Kenneth Schlosser of New Madison, Harold Schlosser of New Weston, Russell Schlosser of Pitsburg, William Schlosser of Greenville, Elmer Schlosser of Verona, Hugh Schlosser of New Madison, Everett Schlosser of Richmond, Ind., nieces and nephews.
