On Wednesday September 7 2001 age 80 years of Elk Twp. NJ at the home of her son Joseph Abate. She was born and raised in Philadelphia PA she was a resident of Elk Twp. for the past 45 years. She was employed as a Custodian at Aura School for 10 years retiring in 1972. She is survived by three sons Joseph and Robert both of Clayton and Louis of Smithville; and four grandchildren. She was a member and very involved with St. Catherine of Siena Church in Clayton. Member and former Secretary of Legion of Mary. Made her own pizza dough and sauce and enjoyed having the family for pizza on Fridays so they wouldn't eat meat. Funeral Mass Friday September 7 at 11am St. Catherine of Siena Church Delsea Dr. and North St. Clayton. Viewing Friday 10am to mass time at the church. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park Hurffville. In lieu of flowers contributions to the church above at 49 W. North St. Clayton NJ 08312 or American Cancer Society 410 White Horse Pike Haddon Heights NJ 08035.
