Brother Nicholas Crosby, SDS, died Nov. 16, 2013, in Milwaukee, Wis.

Born Maximilian Vincent Crosby on Feb. 9, 1927, in Painesville, to John and Helen (Link) Crosby, he served in the U.S. Army in Japan at the end of World War II.

Brother Crosby joined the Society of the Divine Savior (Salvatorians) on March 19, 1950. He served as clerk and bookkeeper at Salvatorian schools in St. Nazianz, Wis.; Washington, D.C.; Waukesha, Wis.; Galt, Calif.; Blackwood, N.J.; and the SDS Province Offices in Milwaukee.

He is survived by one brother, George, of Painesville, and his brothers and sisters in the Salvatorian Family.

Brother Crosby was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Robert; and three sisters, Margaret (James) Shook, Mary (Charles) Hladik, and Mrs. James Dennis.

Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at The Chapel of Alexian Village, 9301 N. 76th St., Milwaukee. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of Mass Friday at The Chapel.

Burial will be 3 p.m. Friday at Salvatorian Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Wis.
