Della, 75, of Stockbridge, Michigan, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Allegiance Health in Jackson. She was the daughter of Tommy Marshall and Elsie (Cole).
Della was a caregiver to all and always put others first. She loved to sing, especially bluegrass music, gospel, and also in church, and she enjoyed her grandchildren. Della was known for her beautiful hair and took great pride in always looking her best.
Survivors include her children: Delilah Patton of Salyersville, KY, Roger L. Patton of Homer, Diana (Matt) Cole of Jackson, and Colleen Patton of Salyersville; several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Clifford, Ethel, Lorne, and Orne.
She was preceded in death by husbands George Patton in 1962 and Ralph Brown in 1985; her children: Debbie, Troy, Vickie, Sheila, Eddie, and Timmy in 1975; and her siblings: Lonnie, Wilma, Clinton, and Shirley.
A Funeral Service was held on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Caskey-Mitchell Funeral Home, Stockbridge, with Parson Billy Allen officiating.
