Mrs. Barry, a homemaker, was born in Portland and lived here all her life. She was the niece of Mrs. Henry L. Pittock, wife of the builder of the Pittock Mansion, a showplace now owned by the city of Portland.
She attended Chapman Elementary School and the Portland Academy. She was active in volunteer work during World Wars I and II, and she worked with the Oregon Tuberculosis Association for many years.
Survivors include her sons, Alexander Grant Barry of Port Orchard, Wash., and William Burton Barry of Portland; a granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
