Barbara enjoyed all sports, especially golfing, and loved to travel and gamble at the casinos. She was a teacher at McDowell High School and belonged to the Pennsylvania State Teachers Association.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Lucas (d 7/6/2006 age 79); brothers, Russell Wright, Bud Blakeslee, Robert Blakeslee, and Thomas Blakeslee.
Survivors include brothers, Pete Blakeslee and his wife, Marge of Piketon, Ohio and Clare Blakeslee and his wife, Karen of Union City, Pa.; nieces, Heidi Dumanski and her husband, Joseph of Harborcreek, Pa., Margaret Smith of Erie, Pa., Beverly Hodgins and her husband, Terry of Corry, Pa., and Mary Ellen Wenzel of Erie, Pa.; a very special friend, Alice Ritchey of Erie, Pa.; and several great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Rootville Cemetery, Rootville, Pa.
