Eva Black Wright, 94, of Parkersburg died Wednesday June 11, 2003 at Worthington Manor. She was born in Wirt County a daughter of the late Samuel and Addie Amos.

She was retired from F.M.C., and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the White Shrine. She was a Presbyterian by faith.

She is survived by two daughters Gloria Wharton of Huntsville, AL and Helen Flatt of Sarasota, FL; one son Edward Black of Indianapolis; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one sister Betty Allmand of Birmingham, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence B. Wright and several brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be Saturday 3:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery North. Visitation will be Saturday 1-3 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
