Mary Shirley Moyer, 80, of Lehighton, died Feb. 19 in Blue Mountain Health System, Palmerton Campus. She was the wife of the late Hiram P. Moyer, who passed away in 2001. She was a homemaker and longtime member of the Bowmanstown Diner Thursday Card Club. She was a Christian. Born in White Haven, she was a daughter of the late Clayton and Lucy (Kocher) Daneker. Survivors: Daughter, Ruth, wife of Geary Mertz of Lehighton; four grandchildren, a great-granddaughter; sisters, Mrs. Beryl Caton and Peg Daneker, both of North Fort Myers, Fla. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Stettler, in 2002.
