Rulseh, Dolores M

Dolores M. Rulseh, age 96, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, died on Friday, November 22, 2013 surrounded by her family at Shady Lane.

Dolores was born on August 16, 1917 in Manitowoc County, daughter of the late John and Rosella (O'Neil) Morris. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1935. On November 30, 1939 she married Richard Rulseh at St. Paul's Church in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on October 4, 1994. Dolores took great pride in raising her family and loved being a grandma especially sharing her homemade cookies with them. Dolores also enjoyed visiting with her neighbors on "Polish Hill". She was a member of the St. Clare Society. Dolores was a quilter, enjoyed ceramics and baking, especially her homemade bread.

Survivors include five daughters and four sons-in-law: Faye and Ron Detry, Albuquerque, NM., Mary Lou Rulseh, Two Rivers, WI., Monnie and Patrick Wilson, Manitowoc, WI., Katie and Dean Harris, Rochester, NY., Jayne Rulseh and Patrick Simono, Two Rivers, WI.; one son and daughter-in-law: John and Gayle Rulseh, Oshkosh, WI.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister: Carol Lynch, Manitowoc, WI.; one brother-in-law: Roger Rulseh, Madison, WI.; one sister-in-law: Phyllis Rulseh, Milwaukee, WI. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Cletus Morris and Mike Morris; one sister: Mary Agnes Morris; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Beaudry with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of morning prayers at 10:30 a.m.
