William F. Bracken, 86, of Elder Avenue, Phillipsburg, died Thursday in the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, N.J. He was the husband of Anne M. (Terlesky) Bracken.

A 1928 graduate of Lafayette College, he was assistant treasurer of Lafayette Trust Bank, Easton, before retiring in 1969.

Born in Phillipsburg, he was a son of the late William F. and Eleanor (Fagan) Bracken.

He was a member of St. Philip and St. James Catholic Church, Phillipsburg.

Survivors: Wife; son, William F. III of Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter, Mary Louise Pullano of Skokie, Ill.; brother, George P., and a sister, Mary Poretta, both of Phillipsburg; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:15 a.m. Monday, Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg; Mass at 10:45 a.m. in the church. Call 4-6 p.m. Sunday.
