OBITUARY
June 29, 1951 "Chattanooga Sunday Times"
Chattanooga, Tennessee
Emmett Noah Littrell, age 51, died unexpectedly Friday night in Detroit, Michigan. Surviving are his wife, Leoma; his sons, Dennis Eugene Littrell and Kenneth Littrell; his step-daughter, Evelyn Vandergriff; and his step-son, Leo Henley. Also surviving are children from a former marriage, Emmett Murray "Junior" Littrell, Joseph Lynn Littrell, Onus Julius Littrell, and Valeria Katherine Littrell. The body will arrive in Chattanooga Monday morning and will be carried to the home in Signal Mountain. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at Lone Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Ray Hoodenpyle officiating. Interment will be in Browntown Cemetery. F. P. Ewton and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
