Donald Allen, 29
Services for Donald Riede Allen, 29, of Bangs, were to be at 4:30 p.m. today at Bangs First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Bangs Cemetery with Rev. J. B. Chick and Rev. Wayne Allen officiating. Davis-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Allen died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday from a gunshot wound. No formal ruling has been made.
Born May 9, 1942 in brown County, he was a mechanic at Bell Helicopter and had been in the U. S. Air Force for three years. He had lived most of his life in Bangs and was a former resident of Hurst.
Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Allen of Bangs; two brothers, Doug Allen of Tucson, Ariz., and Larry Allen of Brownwood; three sisters, Mrs. W. P. Bell of Colorado Springs, Colo., Mrs. Jimmy Henderson of Abilene and Mrs. Jimmy Jarvis of Brownwood; and his grandmother, Mrs. Monroe Allen of Bangs.
