Funeral rites were conducted Friday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Crofton. The Rev. Philemon Smith of Thabor Lutheran Church, Wausa, officiated. Pallbearers were M. A. Wakeley, Otto Woockman, Gust Johnson, Steve Wamburg, Paul Jacobs and Fritz Meier. Burial was in Crofton Cemetery, Crofton, Nebraska.
Agnes Margaretha Suckstorf was born April 26, 1882, in Albertsdorf, Fehmarn, Germany, the daughter of Hermann and Emma (Voss) Suckstorf. She married Nicolaus Begier on June 7, 1902, in Albertsdorf, Fehmarn, and they came to the United States in 1903, to a farm near Pender, Nebraska. In 1909, they moved to a farm southeast of the Crofton where they have since lived. They were among the well known farm families in the area.
She is survived by her husband, Nick; two sons, Henry Begier of Hartington and Nick Begier of Norfolk; two daughters, Mrs. Francis (Martha) Bruns of Crofton and Mrs. Arthur (Emma) Johnson of Hartington; six grandchildren; five brothers, Emil and Herman Suckstorf, both of Bloomfield, Matthaus Suckstorf of Osmond, and James and Hans Suckstorf, both of Lynch; and two sisters, Mrs. Juliane Bahr of Bloomfield and Emma Thiessen of Lynch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, three brothers and one sister.

Her parents were Hermann and Emma Christiana Friederike (Voss) Suchsdorf. Her mother died in Germany. She married Nicolaus Gerhard Karl Begier on June 7, 1902 in Albertsdorf, Fehmarn. They had one son, Heinrich, while living in Germany. The family came to the United States, sailing abroad the ship "S.S. Deutschland" arriving in New York on September 8, 1903 and settled in Thurston County, Nebraska.
Her father, Hermann Suchsdorf, came to the United States in 1912 to live with his daughter's family. The surname Suchsdorf became Suckstorf in the United States.
