He was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1943. Donald graduated from Lake Worth High School and received an Associates' Degree in Applied Science at the Community College of the USAF. He married to his beautiful wife, Sandra, in 1966.
After being stationed around the country and Europe, Donald retired highly decorated from the United States Air Force to Florida in 1984 with the ranking of Master Sergeant. He spent several years as a hydraulic technician working in various power plants throughout the country and finally worked at Cote D'Azure Condominiums in Singer Island before his final retirement. He had several hobbies including fishing, shopping, watching movies, and was a Nascar enthusiast.
He is proceeded by his parents, Fred Edwin Abbuehl and Mildred Irene Pedersen Abbuehl, and his sister, Bette Abbuehl Kotschi.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sandra Kaye Dugan Abbuehl; his daughters Crystal Abbuehl Earley (Husband, John David Earley); Susan Abbuehl Patton (Husband, Ronald Patton, Jr.); his sister, Mary Abbuehl Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing services will be held Friday, July 19th from 11:00am to 1:00 at Palms West Funeral Home followed by military commitment ceremony at the National Cemetary. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 20th at 11:00am Palms West Presbyterian Church, with reception to follow.
