Mr. Albers was born on May 26, 1943, in Wheaton, Ill., and was a son of Harold and Bernice Albers. He served in the Army during the mid-1960s and spent most of his life working for car dealerships. He previously lived in Fort Collins, Colo., and lived in Casa Grande since 1999. He enjoyed golf, going to concerts and plays, vacationing and family get-togethers.
Survivors include his wife, Kathie, whom he met in 2005; two daughters, Jacki Kinch and Julie Saries of Roseville, Calif.; a son, Mark Albers of San Diego; a sister, Sue Smith of Elgin, Ill.; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Albers, and a sister, Mary Albers.
No service is planned.
