Patsy Donaldson Bratton of Winchester, widow of Julian D. Bratton, passed away Sunday at the Telford Terrace in Richmond. A native of Powell County, she was born August 20, to the late Virgil Atkinson and Mary Alice McDonald Atkinson. Patsy was a member of the First Christian Church, graduate of Clark County High School and the University of Kentucky, she retired after 37 years from teaching for the Clark County school system, she was a member of the CWF, Clark County retired teachers association, Hart Chapter DAR, and UK alumnia ssociation. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lou (Wayne) Quertermous of Winchester, two granddaughters, Kristi (Chuck) Hardin of Richmond, and Stacey (Lee) Willoughby of Springfield, TN, three great-grandsons, Zach Hardin, Will Hardin, and Eli Willoughby. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1pm at the Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., with the Rev. Jerry Johns presiding. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11am until the hour of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Quertermous, Chuck Hardin, Lee Willoughby, Zach Hardin, Will Hardin, and Eli Willoughby. Honorary pallbearers will beA da Rosenthal, Jo Hubbard, Susan Hubbard, Edgar Norton, Richard Berini, Fred Crump, Bob Rose, Ella Alexander, and the staff at the Telford Terrace inRichmond.
