Carl Steen, 80 of Montesano, died Wednesday at an Aberdeen hospital. Mr Steen had made his home in Montesano since 1948. He was born in Norway and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs Helen Bies, Montesano, Mrs. Geneva Marshall, St. Helens, Ore, Mrs Alta Morris, Rapid City, SD; and Mrs Gladys Mathew, Custer SD; five sons Martin, Merle, Galon and Clarence Steen, all of Rapid City and Harold Steen, Vancouver, WA, and 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning in the Whiteside Chapel, Montesano. with the Rev. Paul Campbell officiating. Internment will follow in the Wynoochee Cemetery.
