Della Clark Bowman, age 81, of London, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
She leaves behind three children, Cindy Bowman Durham & husband Tilmond of London, KY, Sandra Bowman Sims & husband Kevin of London, KY, James Dean Bowman & wife Robin Brooks Bowman of Mt. Vernon, KY; Charles Caldwell of London, KY, whom she loved as a son; her sister-in-law, Ollie Clark of London, KY; seven grandchildren, Matthew Brandon Sims, MacKenzie Durham Champlin & husband Nathan; Taylor Hayes Durham & wife Marilee, Michael Frank Bowman, Holly Brooklyn Sims, Peyton James Bowman, Logan Hayes Bowman; two great grandchildren, Lukas Adam Champlin and Hayes Carter Durham, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bowman; her parents, Hayes Clark, Sr. and Nancy Ellen Ball Clark; her son, Timothy Dewayne Bowman; two siblings, Hayes Clark, Jr. and Virginia Lee Philpot; and her grandson, Dewayne Brian Bowman.
Della was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in London, Kentucky. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren. Della was a very giving person. She was continually caring for others, especially the less fortunate, without ever expecting anything in return.
Funeral services for Della Clark Bowman will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of House-Rawlings Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Maxey officiating. Burial will follow at A. R. Dyche Memorial Park in London, Kentucky.
