Mrs. Geneva Arlene Henson, 89, of Clovis, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Laurel Ridge Healthcare in Clovis.

She was born July 29, 1916, in Vera, Texas, to Joe and Icie Hanna.

She was a member of the Lubbock Baxter Senior Citizens Association where she enjoyed quilting, exercise, and fellowship. She was an active member of the Community of Christ Church for 54 years, helping in the teaching, food service, reunions and other activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; four brothers, M.W. Hanna, Bill Hanna, Earl Hanna and Jack Hanna; four sisters, Alta Smith, Verda Summers, Ella Mae Hanna and Vera Miner.

She is survived by a daughter, Roxanne Crooks (and husband, Paul) of Lubbock; two sons, Jim Henson (Peggy) of Clovis and Jerry Henson (Joanie) of Marlow, Okla.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Elder Paul Crooks will officiate services.

Burial will take place in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis.

A reception will be held following the service in the fellowship hall at the Community of Christ Church in Clovis.
Pallbearers are Hershel Parker, Gene Phillips, Ken White, David Riley, Jerry Phillips, Arlye Crooks and Glenn Livingston.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Habitat for Humanity in Lubbock, the World Hunger Fund or the Community of Christ Church in Independence, Mo.
Arrangements are by Steed-Todd Funeral Home of Clovis.
