William E. Baker, 24, Rt. 5, died Monday
afternoon at the IU Medical Center,
Indianapolis.
His death came after he shot himself
Saturday.
Born April 4,1954, in Logansport, he was
the son of Wiley R. and Dixie L. Richards
Baker, who survive at Rt. 5.
A 1972 graduate of Logansport High School,
he was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church
and the local musician's union.
Surviving with the parents are three brothers,
Robert F., Muncie; Gary J., Indianapolis; and
Stephen L., at home; one sister, Christy Kay,
at home; and the maternal grandmother, Mrs.
Helen Richards, Logansport.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday
at St. Joseph Church, Father Gus Guariglia
officiating. Burial will be at Davis Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Marocco Funeral Chapel
from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. The Rosary will be
at 7:30 p.m.
