Hague, N.D. -- The funeral for Barbara Eberle, 85, formerly of Hague will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Hague. The Rev. Leonard Eckroth will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Myers Funeral Home in Linton, N.D., in charge of arrangements.
A prayer service will be at 7 tonight at the funeral home in Linton.
Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home in Linton.
She died Monday, May 1, 2000, in Fredericksburg, Va.
Barbara Feist was born June 9, 1914, to Anton and Eva (Feist) Feist in Zeeland, N.D. She grew up near Zeeland and attended country school.
She married Frank Eberle in 1931 in Zeeland. They moved to Hague. They owned and operated a cream station. They also operated the Hague Grocery Store for six years. He died Jan. 7, 1979. She then worked in the Hague Cafe until retiring and moving to Bismarck, N.D., in 1997.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hague, the Church of the Ascension in Bismarck and St. Mary's Altar Society.
She enjoyed crocheting, baking and cooking. She was known for her pies.
Survivors include four sons, Wilfred (Helen) Eberle of Bismarck, Norbert (Jeanette) Eberle of Green Valley, Ariz., Leonard Eberle of Denver, and Daniel (Marguerite) Eberle of Phoenix; two daughters, Eleanor Eberle of Bismarck, and Carol (Gregory) Marsillo of Fredericksburg; three brothers, Anton A. Feist of Bismarck, Frank A. Feist of Minneapolis, and Aloys Feist of Fort Myers, Fla.; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one grandson, two sisters and two brothers.
